Samantha Busch opens up about overcoming anxiety with lifestyle changes
Samantha Busch has always been vocal about her struggles in life. She struggled quite a bit with infertility issues, and it was a long battle, not a short one, with her opting for IVF to conceive. She said on her Instagram stories, “I actually had really bad anxiety for a while but I feel like focusing on my cortisol levels. Cutting out certain things in my diet and adding certain supplements had made a drastic change.” Cortisol, often called the ‘stress hormone,’ increases in response to stress and helps regulate various bodily functions such as blood pressure, immunity, and metabolism. While there is no one-size-fits-all approach that can work for everyone, there are tried and tested ways that help lower it.
Samantha Busch also shared with her followers the way she lowers her stress hormone. She gave multiple ways one can achieve that, including, “Tapping, Acupressure Mat, Box Breathing, High-protein Breakfast, Reducing Caffeine intake, Low-intensity workout, Adding in High-fat, healthy foods, and Using blue-light blockers.”

Just like any other condition, anxiety, and depression, too, can be checked upon and healed from. One just needs to take that proactive step. Busch sharing her struggles connects well to all the people who follow her on socials. She has always been on the front foot helping people struggling with infertility get the treatments needed with her foundation. And while it might seem like a simple story about anxiety, one never knows whom it might just help—because she is giving them—hope! A hope that even the worst days can get better. This is especially true for her because her husband is struggling and that might play havoc on her mind too.

Will Kyle Busch win the next race? Will he not make it to the playoffs? Many questions loom large. Plus, the internet is not always a kind place, and rumors, memes, and scrutiny by fans do more harm than one can imagine. For a driver who swept weekends, the fact that he hasn’t yet made it to the playoffs is surprising. It was just last year that by this time he was well off to the playoffs with ample race wins.
The entire season after the incident with Stenhouse Jr. has been about him crashing, someone crashing into him, or him getting into a wreck or mechanical failures. Right now, as Kevin Harvick said in his podcast, a win looks far off the horizon for him. We can only hope he and the family can get past this and if Busch doesn’t make it to the playoffs, take the time to reevaluate and be back with a bang next season.
