There’s been quite the stir lately in the racing world, with High Limit Racing and World of Outlaws vying for the spotlight, thanks to Kyle Larson and his team’s initiative to bring more drivers into their fold. But this time around, it was the World of Outlaws that snagged the headlines. In a recent twist, the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame dropped some exciting news during a Facebook livestream on Friday morning, announcing the results of the North American Sprint Car Poll.

The list of winners turned out to be a real crowd-pleaser. Kyle Larson’s brother-in-law, Brad Sweet, clinched the title, adding another feather to his cap. Meanwhile, racing icon Tony Stewart also found his way onto the list.

Kyle Larson recently made headlines by announcing his acquisition of the All-Star Circuit of Champions, ramping up the race count from a modest 11 to a whopping 60. In a bid to lure more drivers, they dangled some hefty purse offers and even threw in team charters for the next couple of years. Now, a glance at the list from the Sprint Car’s Hall of Fame poll reveals a bit of a coup – it seems all the former World of Outlaws champions have been snapped up by High Limit Racing this year. Tony Stewart, who owns Eldora Speedway and its team, snagged the 2023 Promoter of the Year title in the Sprint Car Hall of Fame 410 Sprint Car Poll, while Brad Sweet was crowned Driver of the Year.

Meanwhile, up-and-comers like Corey Day, who recently declared his intention to compete in all 60 races and chase the High Limit Racing championship in 2024, was honored with the Wild Card Award as per the Sprint Car Poll. Rico Abreu’s crew didn’t miss out either, being named Team of the Year. Sweet recently managed to persuade Abreu to join High Limit Racing full time in 2024, a decision spurred by the vision shared by Sweet and Larson.

Adding to the accolades, Ricky Warner, the owner of the RAR team, was announced as the 2024 inductee of the year. Not to be left out, FloSports nabbed the Media Member of the Year title, and Jeremy Sharpley from Stage Advantage Safety was recognized as the Builder/Manufacturer/Innovator of the Year.

With all these awards already in their pocket for this year’s 410 Sprint Car Poll, it looks like High Limit Racing has added yet another big-name driver to their roster, cementing their status as a powerhouse in the racing world.

Controversies, gossip, and breakneck speeds? Count me in! While F1 has its charm, NASCAR helps me relive those "Roadrash" gaming days. My favorite among the drivers has to be Tyler Reddick. The 23XI Racing pilot is not only likable but also a complete beast when he is on track, more specifically, road courses.
