Like the veteran, Dale Earnhardt Jr who along with his wife, Amy Earnhardt got into the wine industry, the 7-time Cup Series champ introduced, ICON a premium red wine hand selected by “The King” himself. And following the announcement, rookie sensation, Noah Gragson reacted to the post along with Petty’s son and former NASCAR driver, Kyle Petty.

Richard “The King” Petty and the new ICON!
Undoubtedly, Richard “The King” Petty has been the face of the sport for most of the 1970s. Even before, Jimmie Johnson rose to fame as the sport’s 7-time champ, “The King” reigned as the first ever to do so. During his reign, Petty racked up 7 titles from 1964 to 1979 in his fire-breathing Pontiac.
After etching his name on the sport’s history as the driver with the most number of wins, 200, Richard Petty’s greatness doesn’t fade with time as the 87-year-old still tops the list with the most wins as the rest of the list are a far cry compared to “The King’s” record number of wins.

The veteran who is also a NASCAR team owner has currently set his eyes on wine-making as Petty himself announced the launch of his ICON. The premium spirit is a mix of exquisite top-quality ingredients like Merlot, Petit, Verdot, Malbec, and Tannat that “The King” himself has hand-selected. Announcing his partnership with Shelton Vineyards, a North Carolina-based distillery. While Petty updated his followers with an Instagram post, rookie sensation, Noah Gragson liked the post within minutes along with Richard Petty’s son and former NASCAR driver, Kyle Petty.
The partnership also brings together two of North Carolina’s families that have built their empires with sheer determination and the constant pursuit of perfection.

Dale Jr and Amy Earnhardt lead the way as another former NASCAR driver joins the spirit business
Owing to his retirement in 2017, Dale Jr indulges in multiple ventures off the track while his proud NASCAR team, JR Motorsports serves as more than a stepping stone for budding drivers into the top division of the organization. This year also became a delight as High Rock Vodka was honored for its gold standards at an elite event a couple of months back.

From life partners to business partners, Dale Jr’s better half, Amy Earnhardt Jr is also a part of the venture as the couple embark on a new adventure. Collaborating with Sugarland Distillery, who has a rich racing background wasn’t much trouble as Dale Jr who was a proud sponsor of Budweiser during most of his career.
