How much does it cost to run a NASCAR car?

As per the existing media deal, teams are covered for approximately $8–10 million per car. However, that does not cover the total costs of operations per racecar operated by the teams.

As per Sports Business Journal, costs can shoot up as high as $18 million for each car being run by top-performing competitive teams. It is estimated that the other teams who haven’t been at par with the top of the field would still be shelling out as much as $15 million at least.
