Michael Waltrip Reveals High Praise for Kyle Larson from Fellow NASCAR Driver Tyler Reddick

In the past decade or so, NASCAR in general has produced some exceptionally talented drivers. One personality who has become capable and versatile across a few racing disciplines is Kyle Larson.
The 28-year-old now finds himself in a phase with his best racing years ahead of him. 2021, as a racing schedule, looks quite exciting for him, considering he is also now back in the Cup Series.
Michael Waltrip, on the ‘Waltrip Unfiltered Podcast,’ recently talked to Larson on a variety of topics in an episode. In the realm of the conversation, the former revealed to Larson what Richard Childress Racing driver Tyler Reddick said about him.

Tyler Reddick has some kind words of praise for Kyle Larson
Waltrip stated, “Let me tell you about what Tyler Reddick said about you last week. I did ‘Waltrip Word Association’ which is a game I play here.”
“And I said ‘Larson’ and Tyler Reddick said, ‘God took a little sprinkle of awesome racer and dumped the whole bucket right into Kyle Larson!’ And that’s who, that’s how you turned out.”
The fact that Larson is an ‘awesome racer’ has been a fact known for some time now. He recently picked up the Speed51 FK Rod Ends ‘Driver of the Year’ award for his outstanding work in the dirt and short tracks racing in 2020.

The Hendrick Motorsports No.5 is incidentally also the defending Chili Bowl Nationals champion, which is one of the prestigious dirt track racing events. He will thus be fixating his present attention on trying to come up with a strategy to retaining the crown he won last year.

With his stint at Chip Ganassi coming to an abrupt end last season, he now starts afresh with Hendrick Motorsports. Naturally, his first objective in 2021 would be making it to the playoffs stage.

Larson will also probably compete in a few more dirt track racing events over the course of the year. Quite possibly then, 2021 is set to be an eventful year all-round for Kyle Larson.
