NASCAR Insider ‘Reveals’ “Cash Exchange” Between Bubba Wallace and Ty Gibbs for Mind-Boggling Reason

Bubba Wallace riding down and hitting Kyle Larson is a story that has reached the entire community. Everyone has condemned Wallace for his actions. On top of that, he also had to miss a race, and expected a lot of media attention at Martinsville. But Ty Gibbs took it away from him.

Turned out, there was some cash exchange in the 23XI Racing garage to thank Gibbs.

The Toyota teams sure love some heat, because Gibbs stole all the media attention after the Xfinity race. And it’s no surprise. He wrecked his own teammate to win that race. Naturally, the media found this a much more interesting story than Wallace returning to the track after being suspended.

Brett Griffin even joked about Wallace thanking Joe Gibbs’ grandson, “I hope that Sunday morning showed up with a bouquet and a card that said ‘here Ty, thanks for taking all the media attention’.”, “Thanks for taking me off blast and putting it on you.” 

Luckily for Bubba, he was sorted after the Cup Series race too. Because Chastain pulled the big guns at the final lap, “And then Ross Chastain takes all the blasts off Ty and puts these cheers into media”

However, Wallace’s very own spotter, Freddie Kraft, revealed something mind-blowing, “I will tell you there was a cash exchange in our pre-race meeting. Bubba and Ty, thanking him.”

It could very well just be a joke. Yet, it’s pretty fascinating.

Now, the media was too focused on Ty Gibbs and Ross Chastain to cover Wallace. But how did he really feel about the suspension?

Bubba Wallace has learned his lesson

Well, it seems like the 23XI Racing driver knows where he went wrong.

He admitted that he is fine with the penalty, and understands that he can set an example for other drivers.

Wallace said, “Yeah, I mean I totally accept the penalty and the repercussions that come from my actions. I talked to (Steve) O’Donnell and I talked to (Steve) Phelps and I said, ‘Hey, I’m good with being the example if we can keep this consistent moving forward,’ because it’s happened multiple times this year and it’s something that may continue to happen you know, for other drivers down the road,”

Well, he might have gone wrong on his part. But at least he has learned from his actions. Fortunately, he even ran a very clean race at Martinsville.
