The first Arab-American female driver to have taken part in any of NASCAR’s national series and Victoria’s Secret model, Toni Breidinger, made her way to the Pocono Raceway for the Cup Series race on Sunday. Although she needs no introduction, she, nevertheless, caught the attention of her fans because of the unique jersey she was sporting at the Tricky Triangle.

The part-time driver in the ARCA Menards series for the #55 Toyota Camry extended her support for the US Woman’s soccer team. She posted her photos sporting the USWNT Jersey on Instagram and Twitter.

Toni Breidinger wishes good luck to USWNT for the 2023 FIFA World Cup

The US Women’s soccer team is undoubtedly one of the favorites for the 2023 FIFA World Cup season, having won four times previously and being the defending champions. This is also a special season for the team as it will be Megan Rapinoe’s last.

Toni Breidinger took to Instagram and Twitter to share images of herself sporting the USWNT Jersey with her number #55 on it. Her caption read, “race day at the tricky triangle. also good luck to @uswnt”

The US Women’s National team opened their season with a convincing 3-0 win over Vietnam in Auckland, New Zealand. In a strong start to the season, Megan Rapinoe celebrated her 200th cap for USWNT, becoming the 14th American to achieve this milestone.

Rapinoe’s performances have always been a delight for the fans of the sport. This world cup is even more special considering her decision to retire from soccer at the end of the season. USWNT expressed their delight with a convincing victory over Vietnam, setting a positive tone for their future endeavors.

What began for her as a fun activity soon transformed into a serious passion for competitive driving. In her interview with Fox News Digital, the Arab-American revealed, “I started racing when I was in go-carts at 9 years old and purely just for fun. My dad was basically driving down the highway to work and saw a sign for go-cart lessons, and he took me and my twin sister, Annie, there. And we did a go-cart class.”

Breidinger holds an impressive 19 United States Automobile Club (USAC) victories before she finally transitioned to stock car racing. This year, she also became the first Arab-American woman to have made an appearance in the NASCAR Craftsmen Truck Series.

When asked about how she felt being the first Arab-American female to appear in the Series, she said, “I feel excited but, at the same time, I wish I wasn’t the first because I think NASCAR has been around for so long. So, I feel like every time some of us girls are breaking these barriers, all of this stuff I feel like they should have broken a long time ago, it’s kind of like a mixed emotion type of feeling. But I’m really proud to be able to represent the sport.”

Breidinger is an inspiration for all young girls who aspire to make their career in motorsport. She has shown that nothing can stop you once you have made up your mind to do something in life.
