Strong friendships are hard to come by between drivers in a series as competitive as the NASCAR Cup Series. However, Bubba Wallace and Ryan Blaney seemed to have successfully kept their racing lives and personal lives separate. The two drivers are the best of friends, despite having numerous on-track battles over the years. After Blaney won the Cup Series, the two drivers and their respective significant others took to the skies to celebrate.

It has not been easy going for Ryan Blaney ever since he won the Cup Series. Being a champion means a ton of responsibility ahead of the banquet, and sometimes that can frustrate drivers. So these personal moments with friends and family mean quite a lot.

Bubba Wallace’s wife, Amanda Wallace re-shared a picture that Ryan Blaney’s girlfriend Gianna Tulio had shared on her Instagram Story. It was a picture of Bubba, Amanda, Ryan, and his sister Erin Blaney on a private jet heading to Nashville. The party was already underway on the plane as the 2023 Cup Series champion brandished what looked like a bottle of sparkling wine.

Amanda Wallace also shared a short video where Ryan Blaney could be seen sharing a laugh with his girlfriend, Gianna Tuilio. She asked a question to her followers as he uploaded the clip: “What are we laughing at?”

Apparently, the 23XI Racing driver was one of the first people who congratulated Ryan Blaney right after winning the Cup Series, on the track itself. Bubba Wallace also shared a throwback picture with his good friend with just two words: “Brother. Champ.”

The private jet party just goes to show how close Bubba Wallace and Ryan Blaney really are. Both drivers are avid Star Wars fans and the 23XI Racing driver might have made his best friend a bit jealous when he ran the Star Wars design on his car in the season finale. The two had visited Disney World’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge together a few years back.

Blaney and Wallace aren’t afraid to trade jabs with one another either. Earlier this season, the two had a hilarious banter on Twitter, which had the NASCAR community in splits.
