Suarez and Quaker State have great news for Mexican fans
While Daniel Suarez is now a long-established Cup Series driver with eight seasons under his belt, it all began with the Mexico Series. He collected 10 wins and 26 top-five finishes to establish himself as a formidable force, eventually leading to the Xfinity Series championship with Joe Gibbs Racing. And now, Suarez is eager to return to the series for a doubleheader at the L.A. Coliseum, driving for Jimmy Morales with his crew chief set to be Jose-Blasco Figueroa.
Reflecting on the immense opportunity, Suarez was quoted by NASCAR, “I never thought I would have the opportunity to race in the Mexico Series again. There are a ton of people who helped me in my career still involved in the series so it will be cool to go back and race with them. NASCAR’s Mexico Series is a great place to learn and over time I think will start producing drivers who will come to America. I cannot thank Quaker State and NASCAR enough for making this opportunity possible.”
Speaking of Quaker State, great news came for Suarez and Trackhouse Racing. Their primary sponsor announced that they would be returning to not only sponsor Suarez at Richmond Raceway, Darlington Raceway and the playoff opener at Atlanta Motor Speedway but also as the primary sponsor for Suarez’s campaign in the Mexico Series races at the L.A Coliseum.
