Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. were the favorites to win the championship in the 2022-23 season. But due to an injury in the first round of the playoffs and Jimmy Butler’s historic playoff run, the 8th-seed Miami Heat upset the No. 1-seed Milwaukee Bucks in just 5 games. “We played bad basketball.” Giannis said. Despite their star player’s injury, the Bucks should have been able to overcome the 8th-seeded team.

After a disappointing season, Giannis is hungry to return to the NBA court. He has not played much basketball this off-season because he was recovering from his injury. Getting back in shape, the Bucks superstar wants to play even in the pre-season games because he has a bitter taste in his mouth from the loss against Miami.
