The duo stopped by for a brief interview after the contest, and the interviewer asked what message would Steph deliver to his daughters after Sabrina’s inspiring performance. Before dropping the message, he revealed that both his daughters hate basketball. The 4x Champion said, “The confidence. No matter what they go after in life. Neither one of them likes basketball. Whatever it is, they apply the same determination, confidence… they can accomplish anything.”

After dropping the message to his daughter, he went on to praise Sabrina. Stephen Curry appreciated the 26-year-old star’s fearless attitude to take the center stage infront of the legends of the game. She said, “I didn’t back down from the challenge and going up against the best shooter this game has ever seen — and shooting from the NBA line to show all those young kids to not be scared in doing something that has never been done before.”

As Steph still hasn’t beaten Sabrina’s mammoth total of 37 points in the 3-point contest, the league could extend the competition to next year as well. Moreover, the New York Liberty star also hinted at Caitlin Clark’s role in snatching the championship belt.
