Hip-Hop and basketball go a long way. There have been numerous basketball and basketball player references on popular hip-hop tracks and, needless to say, the players are also big fans of the music genre. Interestingly, four-time NBA champion LeBron James is often clowned and bashed for his lack of knowledge of song lyrics. Despite all the backlash, King James’ love for the genre is undying. Not only James, but it looks like his former Los Angeles Lakers teammate, Kyle Kuzma, is also a huge fan.

Over the past year, London-based rapper Central Cee has mesmerized audiences around the world with his popular and catchy tracks. As Cee hits a major milestone in his career, Kuzma made a controversial claim on Twitter, which might disappoint Drake fans.

LeBron James’ title-winning teammate raises eyebrows on social media

25-year-old Central Cee has burst onto the music scene over the past year. One of his most popular tracks, ‘Doja’ named after the popular female rapper, Doja Cat, is still doing the rounds on radio programs around the world.

He has released two extremely popular tracks this year, Sprinter and On The Radar Freestyle. Interestingly, both tracks contain popular features in the form of fellow UK rapper Dave and Canadian legend Drake, respectively.

Cee recently topped the Hot 100 charts with On The Radar Freestyle. The track featuring $200 million worth of Drake has garnered around 10 million views in just over 2 weeks since its release.

Despite its immense success, Kyle Kuzma seems to prefer Sprinter over the track with Drake. Taking to Twitter, the Washington Wizards star let out his thoughts about Cee’s latest achievement.

“Funny thing is Sprinter is a better song”, wrote the 2020 NBA champion on Twitter while sharing a post that talks about Central Cee’s huge achievement.

Currently, Sprinter is one of Cee’s most popular songs. Released a few months ago, the track has garnered around 80 million views on YouTube alone.

Kyle Kuzma was dissed in a hip-hop track once

Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma had amazing chemistry both on and off the court during their time with the Lakers. Like all great friends, they loved to roast and poke each other whenever given the chance.

Lonzo Ball took the roasting to another level. He released a track titled, ‘Kylie Kuzma’ which had some brutal burns for Kuz. “Who are you without ZO2? Just another dude with a bunch of tattoos”, said the very first line of the song according to Genius.

Needless to say, it was all in good fun and Kuzma might have also thought of releasing a diss track at one point in time. However, it will be very hard to exceed Ball’s hilarious lyricism in the song!
