Giannis Antetokounmpo displayed his skill, managing to score 33 points that resulted in a decisive victory of 129-118 by the Milwaukee Bucks over the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors, struggling with the loss of Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, faced a Bucks side that was set on getting one over them.

As the Warriors chose to rest Curry on the second evening of a challenging road back-to-back, the Bucks took advantage of the absence of the star player.

Post-game, Giannis took to Twitter, delivering a powerful message to his critics: “Don’t think about it. Just shoot it.” This statement is not only a reflection of his confidence but also an answer to skeptics. Offensively, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and Khris Middleton put on a strong display by scoring 84 points between them in an excellent performance.

The third consecutive game Stephen Curry has missed this season occurs on Saturday when the Warriors’ star, having played in 35 of the first 37, needs a little break. The Bucks broke out quickly, shooting 6 of 9 from outside the arc in quarter one to set up a healthy lead at 33-24.

Not only did Giannis guide his team with 33 points, but Damian Lillard also contributed with 27, and Khris Middleton scored 24 points—he played a big role, especially in the fourth quarter. 13 points by Middleton in the last quarter, as well as a great shooting rate of 70%, helped the Bucks win against the Warriors with 46-37 ball possession within the fourth quarter.

Next hurdle Bucks prepare for clash Against Sacramento Kings

After beating the Warriors, the Milwaukee Bucks are preparing for their next match against the Sacramento Kings. On Friday night, the Kings suffered a hard-earned defeat, losing 112–93 to the Philadelphia 76ers. Having played a game against the Golden State Warriors at home, the Bucks will benefit from two consecutive matches on their familiar grounds that reduce the effects of back-to-back games.

The Bucks have a phenomenal home favorite record of 17-3, which further demonstrates how good they are on their court. Nevertheless, a close look at these games would reveal that most of their home games are close (except for a few blowouts like the Celtics game). Before playing against the Kings, the Bucks seek to utilize their home court and sustain their winning streak.
