In the clip that the ref is referring to, Hart was seen commending the referee in the Lakers game saying, “I pushed him, it was a great call.” But there’s more to the story. Complimenting the ref, he funnily remarked, “There’s no way you could’ve seen that unless you have X-ray vision!”
LeBron James’ return pushed the Los Angeles Lakers to a 113-105 victory over the New York Knicks, breaking the Knicks’ 9-game winning streak. The “L” Train, playing after a one-game rest, contributed 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Knicks’ forward Hart chipped in 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists.
Despite the loss, the Knicks remain a top contender in the Eastern Conference. While their stats dropped to 15-4, 1.5 games behind the Milwaukee Bucks (37-21) but after having won the game against the Detroit Pistons 113-111, the Knicks now have a record of 35-23.

While Jalen Brunson has been the offensive engine for the Knicks this season, Josh Hart has come up as a key player, particularly during a recent stretch of injuries and roster turnover. Hart has been a vocal player on the court, however, his actions speak louder than words. Hart leads his team in loose balls recovered (54) and is second in total minutes played (averaging 33.2 mpg) behind only Brunson (34.1 mpg). He even stepped up when OG Anunoby missed 10 games with an elbow injury, averaging a double-double with 5.5 assists per game during that stretch.
