James Harden is in the news again! This time around he addresses what happened after he joined the Los Angeles Clippers earlier in November. Of course, he did not have a perfect start, with the Clippers constantly losing matches in a row, since Harden joined them. But now, once Harden has adjusted to the team, his stats tell a different story. With 22 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 54% FG, Harden in Clippers is a new player. Clippers once again beat the Suns, all thanks to Harden, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard.

Addressing his previous performance, James Harden does admit that he did not start on the right foot. It was chaotic, considering the whole Morey and 76ers drama that played out in the early parts of 2023. He, along with the team, received multitudes of criticism after their slow, 0-5 start following his trade. Now that things have turned around, the Clippers are looking like a dominating force on-court.

Talking to reporters after his win against the Phoenix Suns, Harden seemed to be mocking those who were mocking him. He’s directly questioning the critics who were questioning his rough start earlier this season, saying, “Obviously it didn’t start off well. It gave people so much to talk about in a negative way. And now those people that was talking, they’re nowhere to be found. Like literally nowhere to be found.”

While the LA Clippers as a team are still not where they aim to be, they are still dominant enough with their presence on-court. December provided enough proof of this, carrying their dominant legacy well into the new year as well.

Clippers getting ready for post-season

The Beard, along with the Clippers, are mature enough to understand that their actual test is not right now. In fact, their actual test, where they need to prove their mettle, will be well into the post-season. The reality is that they are picking up pace and strengthening themselves right now, including Harden.

So if the playoffs mattered to them, they wouldn’t be bothered by the constant media and fans’ negative attention their way after a few regular season games. They understand this. In fact, Harden understands, that this is all nothing but noise. He knows for a fact that all the haters, all the critics, are currently nowhere to be found since his roaring performance with the Clippers this season.
