Luka Doncic and his teammates have advanced to the next stage. Furthermore, it’s warranted since the Slovenian basketball icon has officially partnered with Jordan Brand, and his Luka 5 shoes were launched at the beginning of this week. While participating in various promotional activities, Doncic also teamed up with Archbishop Stepinac High School in New York, providing all their players with his latest Luka 5 sneakers.

He also wrote a letter for the players, “Sorry you had to hoop in whatever those shoes are. Enjoy some Luka 5s on me.”

It was a nice gesture from the Lakers’ point guard to share his newly released shoes with all the players of Archbishop Stepinac High School. Interestingly, the high school has had a long-standing partnership with Under Armour. The American sportswear giants have been in the news recently after their 13-year association with Stephen Curry ended last month. Apparently, the company has disbanded the team working on the Curry Brand.

Doncic and his team launched a new campaign for Luka 5s titled “Bad Luka, Nice Shoes.” They also made a fun promotional video ahead of the launch of the new kicks, where Doncic is seen apologizing to many people for being a bad person, including NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski and former Dallas Mavericks star Boban Marjanovic. He had sent his new kicks as a sign of apology. He apologized to Boban again in a hilarious fashion for not making his kicks big enough as per the Serbian’s requirements.

It was truly a heartwarming gesture from the Slovenian superstar as he felt ‘everybody works hard’ and they wanted to give them something for their effort. His teammates Deandre Ayton and LeBron James were seen sharing pictures with their e-bikes, while coach JJ Redick praised him for his consistent generosity.

Lakers star Jake LaRavia also praised Doncic, ” Shoutout to Luka, man. What a guy,” he said.

Coming to the fans, after missing out on a game due to a contusion, Doncic was back on the court on Christmas Day when they played against the Houston Rockets. Although the game didn’t go as planned, he did his best to provide some fans with the best experience. As many as 25 fans in the 300 section of the Crypto.com Arena received his brand new kicks, Luka 5. He also upgraded the seats of 15 fans to a suite, which he provided in an attempt to enrich their game-viewing experience.

He has already won over the fans, and not long ago, he made a massive donation to help in relief for the wildfires that happened throughout Southern California.
