Superstar LeBron James recently took some time off from his busy schedule to reach out to his ex-teammate’s spouse. The former Cleveland Cavaliers star Iman Shumpert’s wife had earlier presented a special Michael Jordan surprise to Savannah James. A month later, the Akron Hammer responded with a sweet gesture. 

The Los Angeles Lakers lately fell short in the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets in a series sweeper. After the disappointing exit, King James stepped into the offseason with a tight schedule to take care of his off-court business. Notably, James flagged off the Monaco Grand Prix in France and spent a few days with his friends and family. 

LeBron James received a special MJ present 

LeBron James and his men created NBA history in 2016 by winning a Finals series from a 3-1 deficit. Moreover, they helped the Cavaliers win its first and only championship. In the monumental effort, Iman Shumpert played a crucial role in guarding Stephen Curry. Even after his retirement, Shumpert maintained a great relationship with the superstar. As a testament to their friendship, his wife, Teyana Taylor recently surprised him with a present.

A month ago, James’ wife Savannah shared an unboxing video of Air Jordan 1 High Zoom Comfort 2 ‘A Rose From Harlem’ presented by Taylor. Following that the 4x NBA Champion recently shared the video clip of the same sneaker on his IG story and thanked Taylor.

In the video clip, the sneakers are presented in a glass jar and decorated in rose petals. Over the years, the Jordan kicks have seen various collaborations. Notably, MJ recently honored the ace filmmaker Spike Lee with a custom Jordan kicks.

The recent act wasn’t the only time where James had made his sweet gesture to Shumpert’s family. He had earlier sent a special wish to Shumpert for his endeavor after retirement. 

James hailed Shumpert for his skills off the court

After his exit from the league, Iman Shumpert found himself on a different floor, a dancing floor. He took part in the Dancing with the Stars in 2021 and won it. He was the first NBA star to win the competition. Immediately after the result, James took to his IG handle and wished the star for his success.
