Binge-watching Netflix shows are a common phenomenon among fans. ‘The Last Dance’ based on the two three-peats of Michael Jordan was a huge hit among fans of the league. The main reason is that it gave an unadulterated look into the mindset of the greatest modern dynasty, the Chicago Bulls. Another recently popular show “Underrated” told the story of the rise of Stephen Curry in the NBA despite being doubted initially.

Now, Sams Charania reports in his latest Instagram post that there is a new Netflix series being produced on the NBA like the NFL show “Quarterback.” ” James’ SpringHill Company, Barack Obama’s Higher Ground Productions, and Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions have teamed up to produce the series — which has begun taping,” he wrote in the caption. The fact that LeBron James himself is involved in the will ensure that each of their stories is covered in great detail.

The triumphs of sports documentaries like Drive to Survive inspired this partnership, alongside 2023’s Break Point and Full Swing, highlighting tennis and golf. The Quarterback series delves into the dynamic journeys of quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota. Unprecedented access allowed these quarterbacks to wear microphones in every 2022 NFL game, adding a unique dimension to the narrative.

To think something like this will become a reality for NBA fans is a truly exciting prospect. It would be fascinating to be in the player’s shoes while a game is going down to the last second. Per the reports, the production will focus on the lives of LeBron James, Jimmy Butler, Jayson Tatum, Anthony Edwards, and Domantas Sabonis. The unpredictable nature of the league also adds to the drama, especially the Western Conference.

At this stage in the NBA season, many things are still up in the air. However, the biggest surprise has been the rise of the Minnesota Timberwolves to the top of the Western Conference. Apart from them, even the OKC Thunders at the second seed have surprised experts and fans alike. The defending champions, Denver Nuggets, are steady in the third seed.

Despite winning the in-season tournament, the Lakers are far behind the table, after a string of horrible losses. The Golden State Warriors also seem hopeless at the moment, with multiple losses in a row. However, anything can happen in the league evidenced by the Miami Heat and Laker’s run to the Conference Finals despite being a play-in team.
