The Phoenix Suns outlined their ambition to win the NBA title when they traded for Bradley Beal in the offseason. The acquisition of Beal meant that the Suns had a very shallow roster. The team’s lack of depth became apparent at the beginning of the season when injuries to Booker and Beal hindered their progress. The Suns, however, rallied around Kevin Durant’s exceptional performance, especially following Booker’s comeback.

They face the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedEx Forum in their next game. Phoenix aims to continue their five-game winning streak, but Durant’s availability remains a significant uncertainty for the upcoming game.

The Memphis Grizzlies face a tough match-up against a Suns team that has won their last five games. The Suns currently occupy fifth spot in the Western Conference standings, having won 9 games and losing another 5. Durant has led this side exceptionally in Beal and Booker’s absence. However, reports have emerged that Kevin Durant may miss the game against the Grizzlies due to right foot soreness. With Beal still injured and KD questionable, the odds are stacked against the Suns to win against Memphis.

In KD’s absence, the reins of the offense would be handed to Devin Booker. The 27-year-old has missed eight games this season, but he has maintained an excellent level of production. In seven games this season, he has averaged 28.1 points, 9.3 assists, and 5.6 rebounds. The Phoenix Suns injury report has also ruled out Drew Eubanks (left ankle sprain), Yuta Watanabe (quad), and Damion Lee (knee) for the game against the Grizzlies. The Suns would likely start the game with Devin Booker, Grayson Allen, Eric Gordan, Josh Okogie, and Jusuf Nurkic.
