When LeBron James issues a unique plea to his spouse
In his YouTube podcast with retired sharpshooter Redick, he was asked about how he gets going even at the age of 39, having played basketball for a momentous 70,000 minutes in his career, and James threw it back to the time when Savannah asked him how he was feeling after he reached home playing a game. He replies, “I came home after a game. I said, babe, just imagine buying a 2003 Escalade (Cadillac Escalade) and it’s 2024 and you never changed the tires, so rub my feet, please.”

James humorously adds that he has never changed the tires (talking about his legs) and has been using the same pair since 2003. He also added that he has this never-give-up attitude that has been instilled in him since childhood and that he’d die on the court for the game’s sake. But picking the right spots is the key for him, LeBron James adds. Having said that, James already has a staunch of accolades and records under his belt, but he keeps adding more every time he steps on the court.
