After subbing out, Beal initially received treatment on the bench before ultimately heading back to the locker room. Eric Gordon was asked to step in for Beal, surprisingly scoring 6 points within his first minute on the floor.

Beal, who has been averaging 18.7 points on a near 50% shooting, along with 4.7 assists and 4.4 rebounds this season, is now facing uncertainty once again. Out of the 53 games this season, Beal has only participated in 29 due to various injuries. Moreover, he was currently taking to the floor while recovering from a nasal fracture. Now, the new injury can potentially sideline him once again.

Beal had been showing a relentless desire to play alongside his new teammates. He recently suffered a nasal injury on January 26th. Regardless, he came back in the second half to resume his contributions. Since then, he has realized on a face mask to mark his eligibility for recent games.
With that mask on, Beal has delivered some of the best performances of the season so far. Firstly, in his return to his former team, the Washington Wizards, he scored 43 points on 16-21 shooting. Moreover, he continued his shooting touch against the Utah Jazz with an 11-21 clip. Moreover, in the last 4 games, Beal has been averaging nearly 28 points per game on more than 50% shooting.
