The Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets’ matchup was an intense one. Although the Nuggets were the favorites to win this game, the 76ers triumphed, finally putting an end to their five-game losing streak. However, the theme of the seasons seems to be on-court fights and this wasn’t the first rodeo for the Nuggets. But surprisingly, it wasn’t the players who were fighting, it was Denver’s coach and the referee which had to be put to a stop as Nikola Jokic stepped in to calm the situation down.

Jokic is once again, one of the top few contenders for the MVP race so far. However, his team might hold him back a little considering they are unable to get consistent wins.
During the first half against Philly, the Denver Nuggets were keeping it close. By halftime, they were only behind 6 points but by the second half, they fell apart and it was game over at 103-89. Malone was clearly very upset even before he was ejected and they were far too late in rallying back.
