‘Batman’ Robert Pattinson, Who Had Just Become Single, Got Distracted By Knicks Cheerleaders During an NBA Game

New York has always been considered the mecca of basketball. And the New York Knicks along with Madison Square Garden have always been at the center of it. They may have been unsuccessful of late, but they still are one of the most valuable sports franchises. They have big celebrities as fans who always show up for games. But seems like a celebrity fan might have been caught a little “distracted.”

Robert Pattinson, the current Batman phenom, was once at a Knicks game. And according to this old report, he became distracted in the game, but not because of basketball. The then 31-year-old actor was spotted gawking over the team’s professional dancers as he sat courtside with a big smile on his face.

2020-21 looked like a new dawn for the franchise. After going through multiple seasons of directionless front office moves and coaching changes, it looked like the team was finally set for success. They secured the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference and got a home-court advantage in the first round. But the playoffs were not as the Knicks thought would go.

They lost in five games to the Atlanta Hawks and never really looked like contending. Trae Young put on a show for the series, forever making himself a villain in the eyes of the Knicks fans.
