The debate as to who is the greatest player of all time is a raging one that has been going on for a while now. Is it Michael Jordan or LeBron James or Kobe Bryan or is it someone else?. The debate has been going on for some time now and now a huge LeBron James fan makes tough admissions about the GOAT.

Charles Oakley was once Michael Jordan’s teammate, and he is also a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He has known LeBron from when he was a child and he has closely followed him since then. Oakley is a Knicks Legend, and he is the latest player to weigh in on the debate. He applauds LeBron for living up to his hype as the No. 1 pick out of high school. He is impressed by how LeBron is still carrying the weight of expectations in his 19th year.

He has stated several times that LeBron and Jordan are the two greatest ever and you can’t go wrong picking either. Oakley has also stated that they are A1 and A2 and the cream of the coupe. However, he chooses his GOAT as MJ. He adds “That’s why I put that comparison, so people can have a debate, But Mike had put the bar so high. I think LeBron passed Kobe, but he didn’t pass Mike. It’s like Corn Flakes and Frosted Flakes.”

Oakley is the latest one to choose his GOAT, and receive a lot of praise and sticks for his answer. That would be very common as this is a hot debate among fans. This interesting debate is surely going to last ages and with LeBron James still going strong in year 19, he still has the chance to add to his already illustrious career. But for Oakley, there can be only one GOAT and that’s Michael Jordan.
