The world lost one of its brightest stars on January 26th, 2020, when Kobe Bryant tragically passed away in a helicopter accident. Shocked and shattered, fans continue to remember him as they mourned the passing of one of the game’s greatest players. And his impact was not just limited to sports fans. Kobe played his entire basketball career at the Los Angeles Lakers, earning the love of the entire city. Turning into a household name, he amassed fame, fortune, and adoration of many across all fields. Hence, his sudden passing came as a shock to all.
Thousands of celebrities from different fields paid tribute to the great Kobe Bryant. Notably, the tragic incident occurred only weeks away from the Academy Awards and the day of the Grammy awards.

When Billie Eilish opened up on the passing of Kobe Bryant
Elish was performing at the ceremony, as she paid homage to Kobe. As the moment reminded her of his passing again, she adds,” It’s just sad. It’s like, I don’t know what else to say.”

“Every time, when we were in rehearsal and they run kind of what’s going to be playing, every time I see his face, I’m like what? It’s so weird. It doesn’t make sense to me. I just got shivers. It’s horrifying,” she added.
Elish truly echoed fans’ thoughts from all around the world. Even years after his passing, fans continue to reminisce about his days both on and off the court. Remembering his moments of brilliance with the ball to his display of sheer humility, he remains a legend who left his imprint on the game and the world forever.
