Billionaire LeBron James ‘Crowns’ $2.6 Billion Company’s Product for the Whole Ohio State Women’s Basketball Team

LeBron James was born and bought up in Akron, Ohio and his love for the state is no secret. The 4-time champion never fails to contribute to the communities of Ohio, including the athletes representing the state. Recently, LeBron gifted the Ohio State Basketball men’s team with Lebron XX shoes. Now, it was time for the ladies. In fact, King James sent some gifts to the Women’s basketball team, and their reaction after receiving them were priceless.

LeBron James recently surprised the Ohio State Buckeyes Women’s Basketball team with some cool gifts. The gifts included OSU-themed Beats headphones and what appeared to be James’ signature red and gray sneakers. Furthermore, the present from King James came with a crown for the ladies and a special message.

The message read, “The season is here. So are the expectations. But you’ve put in the work. It’s time to play. And change the game forever. Let’s make some history. O-H!!!!”  

In the meantime, when the shipment arrived, the entire basketball team completely lost it and grabbed their gifts. Everyone in the room could be seen donning the headphones and the crowns gifted by LeBron. Then there was a sweet thank you message from the team to LeBron. The ladies also made sure to thank the four-time NBA champion for supporting and endorsing women’s sports.

LeBron James and Dre’s Beats

LeBron James was signed as the first band ambassador by Dr. Dre’s Beats Electronics back in 2008. In 2014, Beats was bought by Apple. Today the estimated value of the company is around $2.6 billion. According to LeBron’s former teammate, Larry Perkins, King James was a silent investor in Dre’s Beats. And when Dr. Dre got the buyout contract, LeBron received a staggering $700 million cut, which further adds to his billion-dollar fortune.

However, 14 years after LeBron’s legendary deal with Beats, his son Bronny James joined the same company as a brand ambassador. Bronny has been impressive in his performance on the court and is a legitimate NBA prospect. Therefore, it’s not surprising that Beats by Dre would be willing to sign a NIL deal with the budding star.
