NBA stars and lavish lifestyles go hand in hand. The same can be said about former NBA champion Michael Jordan. He is known for his extravagant lifestyle and the amount of money he spends on luxuries.

Apart from basketball, Jordan loves to play golf. He has a good relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods and he is a regular at the star-studded golf tournaments.

Interestingly, during an interview, Jordan flexed his immense wealth while talking about golf. He touched upon Sam Smith and his controversial book, ‘The Jordan Rules’ to shut his haters down.

MJ said, “I think I’m opening the door for blacks to be involved. I was getting more opportunities to go to these clubs. Sam Smith wrote in his book that I would have been declined membership at a Jewish golf course, but that’s not true. I never applied.“

He added, “The only golf courses that I applied to, I got accepted. He had me saying that if I won the lottery, I’d go out and buy a golf course and keep out all the Jews. Well, why would I have to win the lottery? I could go buy one now.“

This is one way to shut down your haters! While he might have just flexed during his interview back in 1992, he kept his word. Jordan now owns a star-studded golf course that has an interesting name.

In case you wondering, Michael Jordan’s golf course is named after his iconic jersey number with the Chicago Bulls. His golf course is called The Grove XXIII with the roman numerals denoting the number 23.

The exclusive golf course is accessible only to a handful of members and it is located in Hobe Sound, Florida. Moreover, one of the biggest names in golf, Phil Mickelson once talked about joining Michael Jordan’s exclusive club. He said, “Fortunately I know a number of members there.”

Needless to say, the golf course has all the modern amenities imaginable. Moreover, according to reports, the course can be played in several different loops.
