NBA superstar Kyrie Irving has completed his move to the Dallas Mavericks and is all set to team up with superstar Luka Doncic in Dallas. The 2016 NBA champion’s four years with the Brooklyn Nets were marred with several off-court controversies. Despite the early season controversy and issues with the management, Irving wanted to extend his contract with the New York franchise. But the Nets were not ready to offer him a long-term extension. So the eight-time All-Star requested to be traded and the Nets’ front office obliged. Meanwhile, the Mavericks, who were looking for a star to add to their ranks, pounced on the opportunity. However, it looks like the Mavs are not done yet.

The Mavericks are not done even after Kyrie Irving

The Dallas Mavericks gave up Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith and future picks for Kyrie Irving and Markieff Morris. The fans are excited to watch Irving paired with Luka Doncic on the hardwood. However, the Mavs are looking to strengthen the team further. According to a report from Basketball RealGM, the Mavericks could move Tim Hardaway Jr. and Christian Wood, “The Dallas Mavericks have traded for Kyrie Irving, but they aren’t done dealing after that move. Dallas is still looking for additional trades to fortify their roster around Luka Doncic and the newly acquired Irving.”
