Nets’ James Harden Joins LeBron James, Chris Paul, and John Stockton in an Elite NBA Record

After struggling for a while this season, the Brooklyn Nets are dominating the Eastern Conference. In fact, since the James Harden trade, the team has been wreaking havoc. But initially, many were skeptical about the team’s decision to trade for Harden.
While adding Harden drastically improved the team’s offense, their defense suffered in the process. However, after spending a few weeks with the organization, James Harden has now settled in. Moreover, the Beard is breaking records left and right since becoming a member of the Brooklyn Nets.
Tonight, Harden and the Nets locked horns with the San Antonio Spurs in an inter-conference matchup. The Nets were the heavy favorites to win the game, and the team lived up to the expectations. After four quarters, the scoreline was 124-113 in favor of Brooklyn.

Harden had yet another sensational game as he recorded a 30 point triple-double. Furthermore, the Beard had zero turnovers! After this performance, Harden became only the fourth player since 1985 to have 30+ points and 15+ assists in a game with zero turnovers.

Despite being in top form this season, up until the last week or so, Harden was not in the MVP conversation this year. But looking at his numbers, it would be a crime if he doesn’t get any recognition for his performances.
Since Harden’s arrival in Brooklyn, the team is looking completely different. On top of that, Harden has been producing his incredible numbers while playing alongside two other superstars in Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

If Harden can continue this form until the end of the season, he might bag the second MVP of his career. But the only argument against him could be that he is on a super team. Regardless of that, the ultimate goal for the Beard must be to win the NBA Championship. After all, winning championships is what makes or breaks a player’s legacy in the NBA.
