The Chicago Bulls are not exactly having a peach of a season in 2022-23. The team is sitting in ninth position in their conference with more losses than wins for the season. The Bulls are certainly far away from where they were over 25 years ago. Recently, they lost their second game in a row against the Brooklyn Nets, which got the Inside the NBA crew talking about the nondescript Bulls roster. Incidentally, when Kenny Smith mentioned what he felt about the current Bulls squad, Charles Barkley interrupted with a hilarious statement, triggering a deluge of fan comments.
When Kenny Smith tried to point out what the Bulls roster was missing, Barkley mentioned how they’d need Michael Jordan and co. from the 90s to win again. Fans hilariously agreed with the Philadelphia 76ers legend as they flooded Twitter with jokes and memes.

He not wrong! New generation full of suckas. Ruining the game of basketball. Bunch of ballerinas in uniform. I doubt these new kids could last 10 mins against my squad in the early 90s. (They better not expect no foul calls neither🤣🤣)

In defense of the current Bulls squad, it is nearly impossible to replicate what the Chicago Bulls achieved in the 90s. The team completed two three-peats in the NBA in just a decade. Needless to say, fans have trouble remembering other NBA Champions from the 90s, except the Bulls. However, keeping jokes aside, the current Bulls roster has a lot of problems other than missing one of the best players ever in the NBA.

The Chicago Bulls’ problems in the 2022-23 season
The Bulls failed to make any moves before the trade deadline, a decision that has already started to haunt them. They are missing their superstar Lonzo Ball and it seems unlikely that he would return to play this season. Additionally, the team has 29 losses so far in the 2022-23 campaign.
The Bulls have dug a deeper hole for themselves with the disappointing trade deadline, as they already owe their 2023 first-round pick to the Orlando Magic. With so many problems surrounding the squad, only time will tell when they’ll see a sliver of what Michael Jordan and co. achieved.
