Days After Starting New Trend, Annoyed Jalen Brunson Stares Down Knicks Star‘s Pizza Antics

After dropping the first game, the New York Knicks rallied back to even the series against the Miami Heat. The Knicks got one of their stars back in the lineup and made the most of the Heat’s leading scorer, Jimmy Butler, out with an injury. Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart played crucial roles in the Game 2 win. Though these two players started a whole new social media trend together, Jalen Brunson did not seem to be on board with his teammate’s pizza antics during the post-game press conference.

The post-game press conference turned out to be a hilarious one as Hart could not resist the delicacy of New York. Even though Brunson and Hart set off a new Knicks trend in motion, Brunson may not have approved of his teammate’s shenanigans at the time.

The New York Knicks defeated the Miami Heat 111-105 on Tuesday. The Knicks rallied behind Jalen Brunson’s 30-point outing to even the series as both teams head down to South Beach for Games 3 & 4.

During the press conference, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart sat down together to answer a few questions. As Brunson was in the zone, explaining what led him to will his team to victory, Josh Hart was on the other side chomping down on a pizza.

As soon as Brunson saw Hart eating a pizza, he just stared him down and asked him if he was done chewing. Brunson continued to stare down Hart but eventually broke down with a smile and turned his face away to hide it.

Though Hart had earlier said, “This pizza is hitting”, he went to his official Twitter account to complain about the pizza. He stated that they do not cut corners. Hart tweeted, “They don’t cut corners @LedoPizza.”

Hopefully, the pizza place with take up Hart’s advice to serve him better in the future.

Hart and Brunson fooling around

As the press conference went on, a reporter asked Jalen Brunson about the statement Josh Hart’s former coach had for him. According to the reporter, Hart’s former college coach Jay Wright would kill him if Hart ever brought wings, popcorn, or pizza to a Villanova press conference.

Brunson did not have any comments regarding that, but the statement surely did make John Hart crack up. This led a lot of the other reporters in the room to laugh at Hart’s reaction as well.

The two went on to point out the obvious flaw in the plan, stating that he would have to come to a game in order to do so. So, it may not be surprising to see Hart’s college coach in attendance at Madison Square Garden in the near future.
