“Disrespectful to All the Women Who Look Up to You”: Ex-Wife Shaunie’s Latest Move Is Not Going Down Well With Shaquille O’Neal Fans

Shaunie Henderson has been through major changes in life since her marriage to her new husband, Pastor Keion Henderson. Before getting remarried, Shaunie was in a seven-year marriage with Shaquille O’Neal. During her relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers legend, Shaunie Henderson earned fame as a reality TV star on the popular show, Basketball Wives. The 48-year-old is also an executive producer of the show, with spin-offs like ‘Basketball Wives Miami’ and ‘Basketball Wives LA.’ However, after years of success in the reality TV industry, Shaunie has taken up new responsibilities as a pastor’s first lady. Her latest project recently left the Shaquille O’Neal fandom displeased due to the vast difference in culture between her past and current endeavors.

Shaunie got married to Pastor Keion Henderson in May last year. Since then, she starred in her VH1 wedding special, organized the CRYOUT conference with her husband, and partnered with him on a new podcast. However, her recent reality TV production gave way to criticism among the fans.

Shaunie has been a part of ‘Basketball Wives’ since 2010. The show, which revolves around the lives of women romantically involved with basketball stars, received great popularity over the years. As a result, Shaunie’s show is heading towards releasing the second half of the tenth season a few days later. 

Shaunie being the show’s executive producer, recently announced the second half of season 10 on her official Instagram account. The caption of Shaunie Henderson’s recent post on Instagram read, “#BasketballWives returns MONDAY FEB 13 at 8/7c on @VH1”

The video posted by her also gave an insight into what the fans could expect in the upcoming episodes of the tenth season. However, the announcement from Shaquille O’Neal’s ex-wife, was not taken too well by fans.

One of the fans wrote, “THIS SHOW IS HOT MESS N TO BE A 1st LADY WHY U CANT U FIND A BETTER SHOW TO PUT YOUR NAME ON SAD N DISRESPECTFUL TO ALL THE WOMEN WHO LOOKS UP TO U.”

Fans appeared to be displeased by Shaunie continuing to produce and associate with the ‘Basketball Wives’ show despite moving on in her life. Some fans also urged the reality TV star to give up on the show.
