In the past week, the Los Angeles Lakers, who have been under the spotlight for the past few months, made their move and acquired talented forward Rui Hachimura from the Washington Wizards. But the trade for Hachimura received a mixed reaction from fans and big names, including a notorious response from Shaquille O’Neal. However, the Hall of Famer’s response inadvertently prompted major criticism on social media from fans, and Kevin Durant also joined the party. Unfortunately for the Big Fella, the trolls had a field day.

To clap back at his doubters, O’Neal recently took to his social media with his illustrious resume, only to get a similar response.

After learning about the Hachimura trade on his podcast, Shaquille O’Neal exclaimed, “Who the f**k is that!“. The polarizing response received major pushback from the NBA world. However, Shaq didn’t back down from his blatant oblivion of Hachimura’s existence. In fact, he also defended himself on air during Inside the NBA. But it didn’t help his cause, as fans continued to call him out on social media. Moreover, his beef with Kevin Durant added further fuel to the fire.

To calm the storm, O’Neal recently took to his Instagram and posted his illustrious resume with the caption, “who’s needs to kno ball, when you kno how to ball? THEMOSTDOMINANTBALLER EVER”. However, the four-time NBA champ’s attempt to quiet the trolls backfired as fans looked past his Hall of Fame career and called him out to be a ‘casual’.
