The Nets star Kyrie Irving, despite having a wonderful performance against the Indiana Pacers, did not make an appearance to the media. The Nets front office did not allow Irving to appear for a post-game interview with reporters and this may end up costing the team.
Kyrie Irving has been under media scrutiny for sharing a link to a documentary on Twitter a few days ago. The documentary is described as quite controversial due to the information it gives out.

Fans support the Nets decision to hold back Kyrie Irving
The documentary is based on a book with the same title. And the fact that Irving was seen backing up the documentary, did not sit well with fans around the NBA.
Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai and the front office both chimed in on Irving’s recent comments on the documentary. Irving hasn’t backed out from being outspoken and voicing his opinions on the things he feels are right or wrong.

However, another fan tweeted, “Kyrie dropping 30 while dealing with this sh*t,” while seemingly trying to back Irving up.
Irving backs up his views

Kyrie Irving did not seem apologetic for posting a link on Twitter. It did not sit well with the Brooklyn Nets star when he was asked about his promotion of the documentary. This may end up affecting Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets. Irving missed a majority of the last season when he refused to get vaccinated.
And if this controversy continues, it may end up affecting Irving’s performance on the court. And right now, the Nets and Durant cannot afford to lose Irving with a 2-5 record to start the season.
