NBA 2K is by far the most successful basketball game in the market for more than a decade now. The game comes out with brilliant new updates and modifications from its previous year’s predecessor which always has fans on their toes. However, having a player with a 99 rating for three-point shooting may seem like a cheat code, but that is what Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry’s rating actually is. This led Ronnie 2K to claim that Curry has broken the video game but, NBA fans seem to feel otherwise.

Very few players or legends have a 99 rating in a single stat. Although, Stephen Curry is one of them with a 99 three-point rating in the game for quite a few years now. Arguably rightfully so as well, given Curry’s in-game shooting and everything.

However, it seems as if 2K Sports has been taking advantage of the monopoly they have developed in the market with micro-transactions and a grinding process that involves investing hours into the game in different modes.
