However, looking at their Twitter page, the Pelicans are not ready to let anyone forget about their recent win.

Furthermore, this might be the first time the Pelicans play in the playoffs since 2019.

Shortly after their 123-95 win over the Lakers, the Pelicans updated their Twitter bio. “Beat the Lakers by 28 in LA,” the team wrote. In addition to that, they even invited people to their upcoming game against the Sacramento Kings, clearly hoping for a three-game winning streak.

Looking at their current pace, the Pelicans maintain an advantage over the Kings. This was another season for the Pelicans without Williamson, who is recovering from his surgically repaired right foot. Recently traded CJ McCollum is currently leading the team (28 PPG), along with good support from the remaining roster.
