“Father Time is No Longer Undefeated”- Paul Pierce Talks About LeBron James Longevity

LeBron James has gotten to a point in his career where it genuinely looks like he will never regress. Every time he loses a physical attribute, he replaces it with some intangible or the other. Can’t bulldoze his way through defenses anymore? He keeps doing that while also adding a three-point shot. Can’t take on double-teams at this age? He keeps doing that while becoming an elite playmaker.
LeBron seems to add another facet to his game whenever he looks like he may not be performing up to his standards. After a hellacious run with three OT wins and a win over Memphis in which LA had to erase a 20-point deficit, Paul Pierce decided to proclaim that LeBron is the first player to beat Father Time.

LeBron James: Is he actually ageless?
LeBron James is a player with a hellacious amount of miles on him. He has been a superstar in this league ever since he entered it in 2003. He has become synonymous with the sport and continues to dominate at the highest level. Even the greatest players start regressing at this age. Not LeBron though.
While Father Time will one day win the war, LeBron is winning these battles. At the end of the day, his legacy will be built on what he does now and not whether he can play his prime out for another 10 years. That isn’t feasible. But somehow winning another couple of championships before the prime is up? That is feasible.
