Defending champions Golden State Warriors are at a crucial juncture in their campaign this season. The team requires a combination of wins to seal their spot in the playoffs. However, the Sunday night home game didn’t go in favor of the Dubs as they succumbed to an alert Timberwolves in the fourth quarter. Despite a frustrating defeat on the court – and after an interesting explanation post-match – Dubs superstar Stephen Curry impressed fans with his interaction with the future stars of basketball. 

The reigning champions didn’t put on much of a performance in the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. They let the Wolves score off 11 turnovers in the last quarter. The Splash Brothers weren’t at the top of their games too. Klay Thompson and Curry missed several 3-pointers at crucial moments. Moreover, Curry expressed his mindset during the press interaction with a unique claim. 

Stephen Curry holds the tiny mic

Hours after the home game defeat against the Wolves, Stephen Curry shared a video of his latest interaction with youth at the gym via Instagram. Curry crashed into a busy gym with his ‘tiny mic’ where the boys and girls were playing ball. The Chef interacted with multiple players to gather some vox pop. Some questions asked by the superstar: ‘Favorite pre-game song?’, ‘Favorite pre-game meal?’, ‘Favorite NBA player apart from Stephen Curry?’…

Apart from player interactions, he also struck up a conversation with one of the referees and a coach. In response to the video, fans swarmed Instagram, impressed by Curry’s gesture. One user said, FIRST DAY OUT BRO WAS READY,” referring to one of the youths mentioning the song First Day Out as his favorite, to which Curry, himself impressed by the immediate response, exclaimed, “He was ready!

However, this merry video came in after an exhausted Curry’s press interaction post the loss against Minnesota. The Dubs superstar discussed various issues seen in the game during the interaction. Notably, he opened up about his mentality after losing a close game. He said, “That’s just the way a league goes, and you got to take that pill and swallow it just because you know we lost and try to learn from it.”  

Despite the loss, Dubnation was pleasantly distracted by Curry’s shenanigans.
