Stephen Curry led Golden State Warriors took on the Los Angeles Clippers today. The score was really close at half-time but the end result proved bad for GSW. The first quarter was interesting as both teams scored almost equally (61-59 in the Clippers’ favor).

The Clippers Nation gave more than expected competition to the Warriors. However, Curry was on fire ever since the game has started. The second quarter was not even over and he already had 21 points to his name.

During those initial minutes, a picture of Floyd Mayweather hit Twitter. Seven minutes in Q1, Steph hit back-to-back three-pointers which left Floyd Mayweather star struck. He was sitting courtside at the game and was visibly loving Stephen Curry’s ferocity.

Stephen Curry is having an amazing season right now. His team, Golden State Warriors, is #2 in wins in both the the Conferences combined. They are 42-16, and on track to reach the playoffs. They have their eyes set on the championship and currently are fan favorites to win the playoffs.

Curry is averaging 25.7 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.4 assists this season. Moreover, his lethal shooting (where he has struggled a bit) is a threat for each and every team he plays against. Additionally, he even broke Ray Allen’s record for having the most three-pointers in regular season.

Stephen Curry has truly established his name as the best shooter in the league. Not only that, he is also one of the best point guards in the league right now. However, his shooting percentage has considerably dropped this season. He is averaging 37.6% from beyond the arc this season, which is one of the lowest of his career.

However, more than half the season is left and there is a lot of time for him to improve.
