G-Dragon Steals LeBron James’ Thunder as Fans Gush Over the K-POP Artist in Lakers Win vs Pelicans

With new faces in the team’s lineup, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the New Orleans Pelicans by 18 points. Lakers’ star Anthony Davis led the pack with 28 points and 10 rebounds. His efforts were supported by LeBron James (21 points) and D’Angelo Russell (21 points). The game marked LeBron’s first game after breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s career point record. Naturally, the attention of the NBA world was on LeBron. However, this didn’t last for long.
During a timeout, the dance camera focused on the audience and panned on G-Dragon. G-Dragon, a K-Pop phenomenon and business mogul, broke into a step for the audience, who cheered and applauded his presence. He smiled from ear to ear while blushing with the attention he received. The star flaunted a light blue cap and denim jacket while sitting courtside.

Fans go gaga over K-POP star
As videos of his quick dance went viral, fans rushed online to gush over the star. Within moments, G-Dragon had stolen LeBron’s thunder as fans went gaga over his presence. They commented on his looks and wrote that he looked cute with a shy smile. Fans were impressed that the ‘King of K-Pop’ was recognized business mogul and stated that he was flawless. With this new look and energy, Anthony Davis spoke about the team’s performance during the post-game conference. As reported by ESPN, Davis claimed that the team played together with a sense of urgency that helped them lock in from the get-go. He said, “Guys came out and played with a lot of energy and urgency. It was only our first game together, but it looked good.”

LeBron claimed that the team looked good on the court and hoped for this to continue after the All-Star break. Having started his NBA career with the Lakers, for D’Angelo Russell, this game was homecoming.
After bagging a three-pointer, he yelled the words “like I never left” to the fans. During a session with the media, he said “Everybody played a major part in keeping the lead, maintaining it, getting stops. I like what we showcased tonight.”
