After analyzing his golf swings, Collin Morikawa, the winner of PGA Championship and the Open Championship lauded the guard. This was in a promotional video for Capitol One’s ‘The Match’ which is a celebrity golf face-off event among NBA and NFL players. Morikawa is a part of the tournament and analyzed swings of Curry, Klay Thompson, Travis Kelce, and Patrick Mahomes. For Steph, he says, “You’re gonna be, I wouldn’t say the star of this match… but you might have some of the most quality golf shots. So Steph, you’re my one in this top four so far,”
