LeBron James celebrates his first championship in a spectacular fashion
Lee Jenkins recounted the time he had met up with LeBron James after the former Miami Heat player won his first championship title. King James had led the Heat to their second NBA title. The Heat had previously won in 2006. Jenkins stated that he went to see LeBron before Game 1 to get some sort of confirmation from him about the meet up. They met at the Ritz 48 hours after the Heat beat the Oklahoma City Thunder. Jenkins said that they were supposed to do the interview in a conference room of the hotel.
LeBron showed up, along with his sons and few friends, at the venue. Jenkins recalled that preparations for a Jewish wedding were going on in the area. Noticing that the patio was relatively deserted, Jenkins suggested doing the interview there. They got to talking and about 45 minutes later, the wedding guests started coming down to see King James.
