Dennis Rodman and his personality are something everyone wants to be, but no one dares to be. It might be surprising for people from the outside that Rodman is almost as famous for being the persona he is off-court as he is for being a Chicago Bulls legend. The on-court genius of the Basketball legend never went unnoticed along with his marvelous personality.

The 61-year-old has more or less the same personality that he had during his playing career. Back in 2013, the Bulls no. 91 recalled how he was more famous than many personalities in the whole world without him trying.
Dennis Rodman felt more famous than Madonna
The five-time NBA Champion was a player of immense quality but his personality off-court made him more interesting to the audience. His vibrant hair colors and wearing clothes that no one would even dream of at the time, made him stand out. The Chicago Bulls legend always mentioned how he never consciously tried to be anyway. He just always did what he wanted to do.

The Hall of Famer wore a wedding dress in 1996 and claimed that he married himself, to promote his memoir ?Bad as I wanna be ?. The fearless attitude of the Bulls no. 91 couldn?t keep him off cameras, even after the court lights went off.
Back in 2013, the five-time NBA champion commented on his popularity, ?I haven’t had a job in years, yet I’m talked about more than ever.” The NBA legend further added ?I’m doing all these amazing, historic things, and the public can’t believe it’s actually Dennis Rodman, of all people?not Madonna, Oprah or anybody like that. It’s Dennis Rodman!”

Dennis Rodman maintained throughout that he never wanted to stand out, it was a byproduct of who he was. The ?rebound king? retired at the turn of the century after spending 14 seasons in the league. But Rodman felt that he was being talked about because he was doing amazing things and even if his name was not Madonna or Oprah.
It has been nine years since the interview and Rodman is still the same as a 61-year-old, recently appearing in a VH1 reality TV show.

In all the interviews that anyone can read, one thing is constant. The ?rebound king? has not changed. Rodman has had his fair share of appearances on television, appearing in ?The apprentice? and recently ?The Surreal Life?.?
