The announcement not only shocked the entire sporting fraternity, but also drew responses from all over the world. Among other superstars, Lakers forward LeBron James has now extended his love to Brady.

LeBron James and Tom Brady are two elite athletes in their respective sports. Considered as the greatest to ever do it, they share tons of accolades between them. While LeBron James is a 4-time NBA champion, Brady has won 7 Super Bowl titles during his 22 years.

LeBron James extends love to Tom Brady after retirement decision

Way back in 2017, ‘King James’ had declared Brady as the GOAT of football, but not all sports. By then, Brady had already built his legacy with the Patriots. Yet, James has drawn a whole lot of inspiration from him throughout his career. The powerful quarter-back took to Instagram to make his decision official, with an emotional post. And James, who is still shining in the NBA at the age of 37, congratulated him on a wonderful stint. It was a message that left no eyes dry.

LeBron re-posted Brady’s post on his Instagram story, with a heart-touching caption. He said, “Hell of a ride my friend!! Congrats on a heck of a career!! Thank you for the memories and inspiration throughout.” Interestingly, the soon-to-be 18-time All-Star ended it with a goat emoji. In addition, he added, “TB12 loved by [king].”
