Michael Jordan – The myth, the legend

Chicago Bulls selected Jordan as the third overall pick in the legendary 1984 NBA Draft class. Other players part of that draft class were Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, and John Stockton, among others. Even as a rookie, Jordan immediately became the go-to guy for the Bulls. He would go on to win the Rookie of the Year Award in 1985.

During the early part of his career, Jordan would get individual recognition and award but couldn’t get postseason success. This would change with the arrivals of Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson.

The Bulls, along with Jordan, would go on to dominate the 90s. They would go to six NBA Finals and win all of them. They would three-peat twice.
