His performances in the past two games for the Los Angeles Lakers have been good, as he has given a solid contribution during the game against the New Orleans Pelicans tonight. Just in the first half of the game, Russell Westbrook scored 11 points with 7 assists. Also, within a 17-minute time frame, he also got 6 rebounds to his name.

Westbrook has been heavily criticized for the longest time for his poor performances. Many fans also wanted him to be traded from the Lakers for not positively contributing to the team. However his recent has made heads turn, including LeBron James’.

In the previous game, LeBron James applauded Westbrook for his efforts. He described his efforts as “efficient”. He said that it was Westbrook’s energy and pace that made him good.

The basketball icon was only too happy to notice that the winds were changing for his teammate. He was also appreciative of the Lakers fanbase for cheering and supporting the team.

Westbrook also said that coming off of the bench has helped him help his teammates. He said his new position was beneficial for the whole team. He added that he took a lot of pride in being an all-rounder. The return of Russell Westbrook and the Lakers

Darvin Ham, the head coach for the Lakers, told the media that the reason behind the team’s first win was “a different type of focus”.

The Los Angeles Lakers won their first game on Sunday night against the Denver Nuggets. With the game against the Pelicans, the Lakers hope to set a winning streak.

This game is also important for another reason. The Pelicans will have the opportunity to swap first-round draft picks with the LA team for next year. So, the onus lies on the latter team to pick up the slack and ensure they have a good record.
