Rabbi Erez Sherman invites Kyrie Irving to his synagogue to learn about the community

Rabbi Erez Sherman recently appeared on ‘The Steam Room‘ hosted by Ernie Johnson. NBA legend Charles Barkley was also present on the TNT show. During the show, Ernie asked the rabbi what would he say to Irving if they met “face to face”.

“I would say come into my synagogue, meet my children, learn about us as a community,” Rabbi Erez Sherman told Ernie Johnson.

Kyrie Irving continues to play for the Nets in the aftermath of his controversial tweet. The NBA and the Nets’ decision to not suspend the Nets star did not please Charles Barkley. He said that they “dropped the ball” by not taking a decision on the player.

The Brooklyn Nets, however, condemned his recent activity on social media through a statement. Moreover, Nets owner Joe Tsai also admitted that he was “disappointed” by Kyrie Irving. However, there has been no decision from the franchise to suspend Kyrie Irving this season.

The Nets are already struggling despite having Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on the court. Recent reports have linked Celtics coach Ime Udoka to the Nets after Steve Nash’s departure.
