Kareem felt that the dinner between West and Trump was misguided. He reckoned that the trio, including Fuentes were divisive people, who like to create controversies for attention. The Lakers legend felt that the media paid too much attention to the dinner between West and Trump.

Abdul-Jabbar reacts to West’s presidential candidacy

The 19-time All-Star shared his thoughts on Kanye West standing up in the 2024 elections as a presidential candidate. He revealed that Ye reportedly joked during the dinner that Trump could be his running mate during the elections.

Kareem suggested that West and Trump had disrespected the country and its democratic process on numerous occasions. Despite the controversies, they stand a chance of becoming the future leaders of the nation.
