LeBron James isn’t Michael Jordan, claims journalist

While the hype around the film is getting louder each day, ESPN journalist Bomani Jones dissed the high-talk. On his show, ‘The Right Time’, Jones was in conversation with former NFL player Domonique Foxworth. Speaking about Space Jame 2, Jones rhetorically questioned, “Do you give a d*mn about this movie? To this Dominique replied, “Nah. I want to, but I don’t.”

Jones wasn’t over there. He further completed his explanation. “I never felt like Space Jam was some kind of classic in the first place. I did not recall people having this love and Space Jam affection that seems to be coming through in all of this. And, LeBron James is not Michael Jordan… He is setting himself up for disappointment.”

Well, is this how a large section feels about the film?

Space Jam 2 attracts an audience prior to release

In the initial promotions of Space Jam 2, Bron’s uniforms attracted immense excitement from his fans. As the release date comes closer, it’s becoming a bigger deal on social media. Moreover, recently King James changed his jersey No. 23 to No.6, a number that he dons in the film as well.

While fans’ reactions have been particularly thrilling, there must be an audience thinking similar to Bomani Jones as well. Have people hyped this film too much? Jones has rather clearly stated that Bron is nothing like Jordan, and that puts this film on the back seat for him.

Will it be a disappointing endeavor for LeBron James?
