Recently, LeBron James opened up about his ultimate dream. This dream revolves around the desire to play in the NBA with his son, Bronny James. LeBron said to The Athletic, “I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.” The four-time champion voiced his thoughts loud and clear. With that said, Bronny is set to make a life-changing decision that would mark as one of the most pivotal steps to making LeBron’s dream a reality.
Straight out of high school, LeBron James made his way to the big leagues. He missed out on the traditional college experience. However, Bronny, unlike his father, is preparing to take the college route before entering the NBA.

Following his decision to attend college, Bronny has received offers from nine universities across the country, according to a recent USA Today report. The most prominent ones include USC, Duke, Kansas, Michigan, Ohio State, and Kentucky. Bronny has also toured many of these institutions over his senior year. While many high school students are announcing their commitments to different colleges, Bronny is yet to make his decision.

As per a report on Forbes Sports, LeBron’s firstborn has decided to wait and also mentioned that he “won’t sign until the spring.” Despite stating this, Bronny teased fans with a post on Instagram where he flaunted Ohio State’s jersey. He paired this post with a caption that read, “buckeye nation?#notcommitted”.

As a senior at Sierre Canyon High School, Bronny has earned praise from NBA Champions like Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade. Additionally, in almost every game, Bronny has created magic with thunderous dunks and smart plays. Through the course of these games, he has displayed that his style and Basketball IQ is akin to his father’s.

LeBron James and Savannah James on Bronny’s future
While the four-time finals MVP has voiced his desire to play with Bronny in the NBA, he has always focused on letting his children explore life independently. However, at each step of the way, LeBron and Savannah have been there as a ray of guidance and support.
With that said, Savannah James has acknowledged LeBron’s dream. She stated that LeBron and Bronny sharing the court would be the “icing on the cake”. However, she is not really pressed about it happening. In the October issue of Sports Illustrated, Savannah said, “For me, I just want [Bronny] to be happy. If you are happy playing in gaming competitions in Long Beach, then that’s what I want you to do.”
